someone advocates the idea of a moneyless society?
Not just "share the wealth" but actually move beyond markets and money? -
That sounds like Primitivism.

Interesting, never heard of it.

I believe in a moneyless country where people have whatever job they want and get whatever they need for their family. I don't just mean people can be lazy and do nothing. People need to actually work for it. Also, there should be some kind of point system where you can get extra stuff, like a big TV or a Xbox. It wouldn't be like money because the points would be based on your capabilities and how hard you work. That way, people with disabilities can earn points too. Also, it would eliminate the need for welfare because lazy people would have to get off their asses and work. (I mean, some people do need welfare, but we shouldn't be giving money to people who don't work for it.) If you get injured, had a surgery, or got sick you just make sure your doctor or supervisor enters that in and the points will be distributed appropriately. If there is no way humanly possible that you can work, the a supervisor will come to your house or apartment at random times during a month to make sure you are at least taking care of yourself, place of residence, and doing what you're supposed to and you will be distributed an appropriate amount of points so you can take care of yourself (so yes, kind of like welfare, but you can't be lazy with it). If something I own breaks (like a washing machine) then you can get it fixed without giving up points and the person servicing it would still get the points for doing his or her job. And to make sure the country itself has enough money to run, all decisions concerning the country's money would be a nationwide decision where all citizens vote on where it should go. If different areas of the country say different things, then the money would be split to accommodate for each areas' needs.

I believe North Korea does something quite similar to what you both are suggesting. :3

I also like the idea of a classless and generally stateless society. Classless because it goes with the theme of economic equality, stateless because I don't like constant surveillance and government corruption. (Generally because there has to be *some* level of organization, because otherwise would be ...hard what with humanity being all weird...:\)
I looked up primitivism, and I can agree with it. The main problem I have with it is that it doesn't welcome technology, while I rather enjoy technology and believe it most certainly can be green and work-friendly.
@Ana
...I'm assuming you're leaving out the cruel treatment of people over there.
@Rascal
Your idea actually sounds pretty cool. -
@Ana But in my idea people aren't forced into jobs they don't want and there's no torturing or killing,
@Appa Thanks!
