How did she find it?

she threw out this desk so there would be room for the Christmas tree. my lil bro and sis always check the mail and they would usually throw the mail on top of the desk and as she was sorting through it, she found it.
so when i was talking to her about getting a car, she brought it up. i was like "s---".. but then i told her i wasnt going to buy her anything else and i can understand why she got mad.
i dont think she got mad when i bought the collar for someone else. so i am assuming she got on me because i spent my money on someone most of the fam doesnt like.
