They don't take some newbies seriously when they want to be. They pick or accept the "decent" newbs and actually have the desire to get to know them. But when it comes to the newbs that aren't the "best", they tease and secretly make a joke out of it. Like the person actually deserves that.
Then they wonder why no one rarely talks to them. I don't know about everyone, I can't really speak for everyone, but I wouldn't want to be friends with a dick that only makes fun of those that they think are inferior to them. -

I get what you're trying to say, but some of them are really cringey and do stupid stuff, so would you prefer us just to ignore it and act like their behavior is okay just because they are a new? People trying explaining them what they did wrong because yes, they act out without any knowledge or common sense on how to truly function on the forums, but they end up being cheeky b------s that threaten people with empty threats and belch lies that need to be mocked.
I mean, the newbs that have been joining recently aren't really MY cup of tea, but just because they are new doesn't mean everyone should automatically like them. -

Mocking and teasing, and actually telling them what and what not to do (like criticism/advice) are totally different. I'm not saying to ignore them and let them act like imbeciles just because they're new. When you enter a new school, you would hope for someone to actually show you the designation you're looking for. Not for them to lie for laughs. That's not going to teach them anything. And that's what some people do here. Annnd.. I feel like you're talking about a different thing at the end of that paragraph. ??
Either way, not all of them do that. I'm talking about those who don't deserve it. Those who never do that.
I'm not saying everyone should like them. That's fine. But that doesn't mean you have to be an idiot to them? Normally if one doesn't like another, they would avoid them. So if they don't like a person, why can't they avoid them? I don't like a lot of people here. I really do not. But I don't go around being rude to them.
