I ladn on my feet as well. I look around, making sure he is really gone.

"He's gone?"

I take a final glance behind me. "He's nowhere in sight."

I nod. I don't really say anything, I'm to scared to even speak.

"Let's get going." I say.

I nod again and start to walk a little slowly.

I start to walk.

I grab Michael's arm and hold his hand tightly.

I hold her hand just as tight.

"Why does he hurt me, Michael?" I ask.

I look at her. "I don't know. But it has to stop. He has no right to hurt you."

I don't say anything and let that sink in. "I don't like it. He calls me ugly and a waste of space, to. It makes me feel even worse, besides the fact that I am being abused."

I look down and let a tear fall. "You believe him?"
