Bloodsoul and Earthkit zoomed up the tree in less than a second. The roguecat perched herself on a branch and panted. Earthpaw turned to her 'You gonna use the "prey" excuse again,aren't you?' he joked. Bloodsoul nodded 'Yes.'

Heartpaw saw some type of animal by the stream. "Whose that?" she asked.

Snowfaith looked down at the little wolf puppy by the river. 'I don't know.' she answered 'Maybe we should go see.'

Heartpaw nodded, then looked at the hunters "What about them?" she asked.

Bloodsoul noticed the hunters again. 'Oh,damn it.'

Heartpaw had never been so frightened in her life, she shivered in fear as the hunters drew close.

Liv heard voices and saw cats.
She walked over to them, her tail wagging.
Her bright pelt was easily seen. -
Snowfaith noticed a group of hunters creeping up from behind the pup. 'Look out!' the she-wolf yelled.

Heartpaw leaped down and rushed the wolf pup up the tree to safety.

'Wow! That was close!' Earthpaw exclaimed.

The hunters walked away. 'they're bound to come back.' Snowfaith warned

Heartpaw jumped down the tree and looked around "There has to be a better place to hide."

Liv's heart raced.
"What was that" She said, her voice shaking. -

"Those were hunters, they kill animals." Heartpaw said. -
