Birthday: Brown Tiger
Birthmonth: Red Rat
Birthyear: Green Dog
I always knew I was a dog, but not the other stuff. xP What's weirder is each of those were said to be 'male energy'. -
The Chinese zodiac goes by just the birth year. .-.
-
That's what I thought, but this is just what I got from this site. .3.
-
That site isn't right. :I colors and wood and metal have nothing to do with your Chinese zodiac.
-
Oh okay. Thanks for telling me. I got it from someone's journal on dA for a contest they're doing. xP
-
No problem. There's twelve signs that repeat every twelve years and if you were born the first few months of the year your sign might be different form what you thought because it goes by the Chinese new year not January first.

Something about a Black Sheep Black Dog Black Chicken.__.
Two said Female and One Male. -
In Chinese astrology the animal signs assigned by year represent what others perceive you as being or how you present yourself. It is a common misconception that the animals assigned by year are the only signs and many western descriptions of Chinese astrology draw solely on this system. In fact, there are also animal signs assigned by month (called inner animals), by day (called true animals) and hours (called secret animals).

What did you get that off? Wikipedia?
-
Also I said colors, wood, and metal have nothing to do with the Chinese zodiac. Learn to read before trying to be the smartass and prove everyone wrong. I'm actually Chinese so I'd know better than you. -.-"
-
Yes, acually, and how would you know that I'm not Chinese either? I'm not, granted, but how would you know? I've had several friends throughout my life that've studied the different zodiacs and I've been able to learn alot from them. Colour, wood and metal all play an important part, from what I've understood. I'm sorry I misread your post, but it happens to all of us.
-
Wikipedia doesn't know anything. Random idiots can go in an edit it and not everything on the Internet is true. And I know because if you were you'd know that the site is wrong. And you're friends might know about zodiacs and the ones they study involve woods and such, but not the Chinese. I know this for a fact.
-
It called me a cow. ._.
-
I'm a dog as well, according to the Chinese zodiac :)
-
And yet there are those wonderful moments when you find a passage on wiki that happens t be free of falsehoods. It's not as bad as you think. ANd I would continue this with you, telling you how my friends were studying the Chinese zodiac among others and blah di blah, but from what I've seen as you your stubborn (in a good way). We'd never be able to reach an agreement.
