Lately it's really been bugging me that I never got to say goodbye to a deceased friend. And religion hasn't been helping either. What do you think I should do?

I think you need to write a letter of what you'd say to them and then either:
-give it to the family
-keep it stashed away so you cons remember them
-give it to their memorial/ by their grave -
Yeah, a few years ago one of my best friends died of cancer. I didn't have any friends at the time, and she was an older kid who cared about me. I met her at Tae-kwon-do, and we were friends since the moment I almost broke her nose. She was a role model of mine.
