Ivan woke up when the sun started to rise. He sat up and stretched, yawning loudly.

He cringed again when he heard the yawn. His eyes stung and he just curled up some more on the couch. Well, a night without sleep. Couldn't be that bad.

Ivan quietly got up and walked to the kitchen, getting some cereal.

"Awake?" Giovanni yawned miserably, getting up.

"Yep," Ivan said, getting out a spoon and proceeding to eat his cereal.

"That's good," he muttered. He walked to the kitchen to heat something up for himself.

Ivan went and sat down on his bed, still eating. He reached back and scratched one of the scars located on his spine.

He heated a bagel in the toaster and poured himself a glass of milk. He tried to keep his eyes open.

Ivan glanced back at Giovanni. "You look tired, kid."

"I didn't sleep all night," he said. When the bagel popped up, he was so unprepared that he jumped back in fear.

Ivan laughed slightly. "Why didn't ya sleep?"

"Too terrified to sleep," he admitted bitterly.

"Well, what you should know then, is I am a very deep sleeper. And I'm usually to tired to kill anyone in the middle of the night."

"That doesn't really help me but.. Thank you for the information."

"No problem."
