Ivan nodded. "I think it sounds quite beautiful, what about you?"

Ivan was about to kiss Gio, but was interrupted by the screaming of the kettle, reminding him that he had been making breakfast. He sighed and set Gio down and went over to the stove, turning off the heat and moving the kettle to the counter so it could cool off a little.

Gio sighed a little, mentally cursing at the kettle for having ruined the perfectly beautiful moment.

Ivan got out two bowls and two packets of oatmeal. He got some milk and brown sugar out as well.

Gio watched him from a distance.

Ivan put the oatmeal in the bowls, then poured some water in each, waiting as it did its whole hydration thing.

Gio got a little tired so he sat down in a chair. -
Yeah, the oatmeal, like, absorbs the water and s---. I seriously haven't had oatmeal since I was in third grade, so.
Once it was done, Ivan brought the bowls over to the table, along with spoons, milk, and brown sugar. -
Oooh. :o I wouldn't know because we only make arroz con leche..
"Looks delish," Gio commented. -
Ah.
"It should be. Do you want milk and brown sugar on it?" he asked. -
"Yes, please," he nodded.

He put some milk and brown sugar in both their bowls. He stirred his up.

Gio kept watchin.

He stirred Gio's as well.
