Elli grinned. "Well, the weddings gonna start as soon as the priest gets here."
Demetri nodded. "I'm thirsty.. I'm gonna go get a drink." and with that he rushed off to the kitchen. -
"I can't wait. I've had butterflies all morning," he giggled.
Duran was surprised, but didn't say anything about it. Seemed innocent enough. -
Elli nodded. "I'm so excited. Though it's a shame that our parents couldn't be here. Mom would've loved you so much, Gio." Elli said, her eyes slightly sparkling with tears.
Demetri ran into the kitchen, startling both Alec and Ivan. -
Gio nodded as well, smiling sadly. "My parents would have loved you all so much too.. But I'm sure that in some sense, they're all happy right now.."
While he waited, Lucas snuck up behind him again. "Dad," he said, shaking his shoulder. "Daaadd.." -
Elli agreed and pulled Giovanni close for a hug.
Demetri got a cup and filled it with water.
"Jeez, what's your problem?" Alec asked.
Demetri shook his head and chugged the water down. -
Giovanni hugged her in return, feeling his eyes get wet.
"What?" Duran asked, seeming a bit annoyed.
Then Lucas proceeded to ask him a few questions, most of which weren't really of Duran's interest. That, or it was just too hard to answer them. -
"Oh, don't cry, dear. Please."
Alec just shrugged it off, and Ivan was too preoccupied with his own thoughts. Demetri put the glass in the sink and then decided to head out back, to where the wedding would be. -
He simply nodded and brushed away his tears. "S-Sorry.."
"Are you happy now? Is it going to be okay, or is it too soon for you?"
Duran, in a sudden burst of understanding of all of Luca's questions, found that he was overcome with emotion. Suddenly he burst into tears, feeling almost pathetic. "I want to move on, Lucas." -
"It's alright." Elli said reassuringly. Then there was a knock on the front door.
Demetri went to the back yard and sat down in one of the very few chairs there. -
Giovanni looked at the front door curiously.
Lucas held him in his arms for a while, then shook him once more. "We should get going. You can go sit with him, I'll just sit with myself.." -
(I could totally just ruin their whole wedding day. But I shouldn't.)
Elli answered the door and smiled to see the priest guy that does the wedding stuff.
Demetri stared up at the clouds. -
(How would you ruin it? xD)
"Oh," Giovanni said simply, then he felt rude and covered his mouth.
Duran nodded, wiping off his tears. "Alright.."
Then they went outside, Duran catching sight of Demetri. He lowered his face. -
(By saying the police were at the door and they were there for Ivan and stuff. xP)
Elli led the priest in. "Gio, would you mind showing him out back?"
Demetri continued to stare up at the sky. -
(holy f---ing hell that would have been horrible. xD)
Giovanni nodded, smiling. "Kay," he said, turning to the priest and giving him a warm smile.
Duran took his seat next to Demetri, not saying anything as he did so. Lucas took a chair and made himself sit waaaaay out back. -
(Yeah, that's why I decided I shouldn't. xP)
Elli smiled and went to the kitchen and informed the boys that the priest was here.
Demetri looked over at Duran and smiled. "Hey."
