He nodded softly.

Ivan kissed him gently.

He kissed back.

Ivan sighed softly as they pulled into the parking lot of the hospital.

Giovanni turned a little pale, despite being feverish.

Ivan saw Giovanni pale and frowned.

He looked over at Ivan and smiled a bit to reassure him.

Ivan gave Giovanni a half smile in return.

He looked away then, anticipating nervously for the moment they would have to go to the hospital.

Elli and Alek got out of the car, and so did Ivan. He went to Giovanni's side of the car and opened the door for him.

He got out of the car, wobbly and reluctantly.

"Shall I carry you?" Ivan asked politely.

Giovanni nodded softly.

"Okay," Ivan said and picked him up into his arms, wrapping Gio's legs around his waist and arms around his neck.

He snuggled closely to Ivan, his head lying on his shoulder.
