Ivan nodded. "Yeah me too. I wasn't really careful enough when I killed Martin. Leaving the body there was very bad of me, especially since it was in a very public place, and many of people could've heard the gunshots. Plus it was still daylight, so people could've easily seen us. So, yes, I'd say it's safer to go to Russia."

Giovanni just kinda stared. "Well.. yeah, what you said. Plus I don't think my crying was actually helping in the silence.. Anyways, at least by going nobody will really recognize us from the American news."

"True. But then there's always the possibility that America would go so far as to come to Russia and demand the Russian police arrest us, which will definitely not go down with the Russians. We hate being bossed around." Ivan said, with a small grin.

"One thing.. I'm not Russian. Born in America, parents from Mexico and Italy. Are you sure they're going to actually let me go?" Giovanni questioned him. It was funny, how he seemed to grow so strong when he questioned others.

"I know how to deal with the Russian police, trust me. You're with me, and I won't let them take you away from me. And if that results in the both of us getting brought back to America, I'll explain everything that happened, and illness the one going to jail, not you."

Giovanni pouted a bit, not really liking so much the sound of that. But he only nodded. "Okay.." he whispered.

"But imnearly positive it won't con to that, love," Ivan said with a smile, stroking Giovanni's hair.

"Alright.." he muttered, giving a little forced smile. He still worried a lot though.

"Don't force your smile, please?" Ivan asked.

He nodded and tried a smile that wasn't forced, but it was really tiny.

Ivan kissed Giovanni softly. "You don't have to smile if you don't want to, my love."

"Okay.." he muttered, curling up against him some more instead of smiling.

Ivan rubbed Giovanni's side gently, soothingly.

He purred lightly, closing his eyes.
