"Anything for you, Giovanni." Ivan said lovingly, heading into the kitchen to make some oatmeal.

He hugged his knees a bit and waited.

Ivan fixed it quickly. "Do you want brown sugar and/or milk on your oatmeal?"

"Brown sugar, but no milk. I could vomit again," he said, shivering at that thought.

"Right, of course." Ivan put some brown sugar on it then brought it back to Giovanni.

Gio took it with a smile. "Thank you very much."

"No problem, love." Ivan said with a smile.

Bump.

He ate it carefully, his hands trembling as he held the bowl.

Ivan watched him. "Do you want me to feed you?" he asked.

He looked up, and nodded slowly.

Ivan smiled. "Okay." He took the bowl and spoon from Giovanni and began to feed him.

He ate happily, and almost greedily.

Ivan continued to feed him until it was all gone.
