It's a pairing in one of the books I read. This guy, who's almost a prince, has to marry the princess, but he's gay and he's got his eye on this other guy. They end up together in the end, but sadly their lovestory was on the sidelines and not the main thing in the book. Their names are Tove and Bain, but Boventain is the pairing name I came up with.

Yeah, but I'm glad they got to be together in the end. The princess and Tove got divorced and she married someone else and Tove started his relationship with Bain.
"Yes!" Tray said and started to strip. -
