He continued petting the younger boy's hair.

"That hurt so bad..." Tray mumbled into Valentino's chest.

"I can imagine," Valentino said sympathetically.

"I don't wanna go out in public alot anymore..."

"Don't worry. After today, I guess we won't have to," Valentino said.

"I'll just try to hide my tail and ears as best as I can at school.."

"That might be a good idea," he nodded softly.

"Thank you for being here with me."

"I'd do anything for you, Tray."

Tray kissed Valentino's cheek. "Thank you."

"Of course," he whispered, kissing him back.

"So, shall we try and enjoy this fair?"
