Shiloh rested until his servant woman came in to wake him up. He got up to dress, and get ready for breakfast.
Connor would have his own servant come and wake him up as well. -
A servant came and woke him up. He was already dressed, so she just led him to the dining hall.

The prince smiled as he walked down to the dining hall, making sure Connor would sit beside him again.

Connor arrived at the dining hall and sat next to Shiloh. "Hey there," he whispered.

Shiloh smiled and whispered back, "Hi, Connor." The whole hall was alive with voices and the clattering of silverware and plates. Luckily, people were busy speaking with each other, leaving Shiloh alone and with Connor.

"Did you rest, love?" he asked quietly.

He nodded. "Managed to for a bit. Did you?"

He nodded. "Yes, I did." he said smiling.

Shiloh smiled. "That's good." He carefully reached over to squeeze his hand lovingly under the table, making sure no one was looking.

Connor squeezed back. "I would kiss you, but-" he looked around "-I don't want to get you in trouble."

He nodded, sad that they couldn't show their love. "Maybe, somehow, I could try to fix things, possibly even make it more acceptable here, but I don't know, no one's ever done that before."

Connor thought about it. "That would be amazing if you could make our kind of love more acceptable. It's never happened before, but it could help the future as well." His mind was racing as he thought of the possiblities.

He smiled, and gave a nod. "That's what I'm hoping for. The only problem is..." He frowned a bit. "I'm the next in line to the throne, and the people are going to want me to have an heir."

"I had a cousin. And she died in childbirth. Her child was sent to her grandparents, and I know they wo t be able to take care of him for very long. Would he be able to be the heir after you? He isn't very old yet, 18 months at most."
