She smiled. "Finally." She pulled the door inside, running past the receptionist and through the building.
-
"Pft. You're welcome." Sorrow muttered, only vaguely admitting the fact that there was no way for the girl to know she had been the one who unlocked it.
She set away at copying all the important data from their network, and replacing several of them with dirty photos and virus-infected files.
(I've just decided that Sorrow has a tremendous hatred for the military. Yup.) -
(Because...?)
She sat back down at her computer, and tried to open up what she'd been working on. Instead, a woman appeared on the screen, flashing some indecent parts. She quickly closed the file, but not before the realized she recognized the porn star. It was the one she'd found millions of pictures of on her ex's computer.
Great. All my work has been deleted and replaced by the slut who caused me to break up with Daniel. Who the fuck is this person? It wasn't really funny anymore. -
(Because her father joined the military and was killed in battle.)
Sorrow could see the girl practically bristling in her seat. She didn't know why she found this so funny, but she did.
"Who is this girl, anyway?" she muttered, opening a file that was supposed to hold the applications of all the employees. She scrolled down until she found her name, and next to it, several other details about her.
"Ah. I see. Hello, Miss Emma." -
(Oh.)
The redhead sighed, starting over, and avoiding the naughty pictures. Others seemed to have gotten viruses. She'd take a virus over a GIF of a boy and a girl-she didn't want to go into detail. -
(Yup.)
Sorrow didn't know what else to do now. It was true she had intended to torment this particular facility for quite some time, but she was out of ideas.
It took her a moment before she came up with a satisfactory idea.
"Who wants to know how much everyone is making?" she invited in text on every screen in the building. -
Employees started raising hands slowly, looking around suspiciously. Emma shrugged. I already know I make the least here, what's the harm?
-
She had to laugh at that, fairly surprised by how many were willing to flat out announce that they wanted to know this way.
"But I live to please." she muttered, and pulled the file with all the employee's information up. She began to carefully type in the details, each name, their position, their income. These details appeared on each screen for the people to see. -
Emma yawned, not surprised. Although the others began to glare and argue. "How come you get more than I do?"
"Because I do better at my job!"
"I've been working here longer than you!" -
Sorrow had expected exactly this sort of response, but it still seemed hilarious to her.
"Now, now. No need to argue. You're all replaceable in the military, anyway." she added, noting, but not changing, an accidental tone of bitterness. -
Emma rolled her eyes, reading the text. She giggled. The pornography incident was behind her. This person was funny again.
-
She saw the girl laughing again, but if she wanted this to go over well, she couldn't catch herself targeting one person again and again.
Instead, she turned her attention to a rather skinny girl with her tan skirt hugging her waist a bit too tightly. She wore deep red lipstick, and a shirt about two sizes two small, so that her chest was hardly contained by it.
"The office slut. Every workplace has one." she mumbled. She looked through the pages again, finding the woman- a Miss Miranda River.
"Who's slept with this chick so far?" her next text read. The entire point was supposed to be to see how far she could go before someone would try to do something, but she had to admit she was enjoying this. -
A few men- and women too- raised their hands. Miranda blushed, and ran out of the room, tears forming under her eyes.
Emma pulled her legs up on her chair and to her chest. She wrapped her arms around them and rested her chin on her knees, watching the screen. This was amusing. -
Sorrow knew she should feel guilty for making the woman cry, but the entire display had been very entertaining for her, and she couldn't help but wonder what kind of military employees these were that so willingly answered to a hacker. Still, if they would answer, she would ask.
"How many of you realize that your upper authorites can see you answering to me?" -
Embarrassment, anger, and overall shock registered on most of their faces. Emma spun around in the chair slightly.
