No, I'm mocking myself. You're consistent, I'm not at all.
Emma shrugged and continued working. Whoever this was, they couldn't keep the secret for long! She'd find them later-and congratulate them. -
xD Consistent. Interesting word choice.
Sorrow paused, reviewing her coding entry. She smiled to herself, and pressed the enter key. The security cameras shut off, and that meant everything else in the building had, too. -
Johnson sat up sharply. The silent alarm had been triggered. Someone had shut off the security system!
-
o.o Huh?
-
Much more consistent than I. I tend to switch between a one-track-mind and having ADD symptoms. xD
She froze. The computer turned off, as did the lights. The entire area was pitch black. While others panicked, Emma stood up and slowly felt her way to the exit. -
xD Well okay then.
Sorrow sat back in her chair, wondering when to turn it back on. It irritated her that she couldn't even evaluate the damage now, so she would need to turn it back on before it drove her insane.. -
Johnson scrambled across the room to his computer terminal and immediately started getting systems back online. Starting with Lights and Cameras.
-
She finally found a door to the outside, and pushed it open. The sunlight poured in, momentarily causing her to close her eyes from the pain. She stumbled out blindly, and stood there until her eyes readjusted to the sunlight. She glanced around.
-
Sissi, do you know this person.....? They just kinda joined our soap..
The seconds seemed to take an hour to pass as she waited for the right time. She wanted her destruction to be thorough, of course, but she wanted to see what had happened in the darkness...
When finally she could wait no longer, she punched in the code to release the electrical system from her control, and allowed everything to light up again.
The security cameras flickered, the image stabilized, and she laughed at the hilarious looks of panic on the terrified faces there. -
Yeah, I know the guy.
The other employees stopped running around like headless chickens, and sat back down to work. There was still a little worry in their faces, though.
Emma sat against the building. She didn't know the lights were back on. Or that she was locked out. -
Okie~
Sorrow searched the room for the woman who had been laughing earlier. She wanted to see the look on her face now, but the woman seemed to have disappeared. She wasn't in any of the hallways, none of the conference rooms..
"Maybe the outside cams...?"
She studied those monitors in particular, and finally found the girl, leaned against the building.
"Found you." -
She eventually stood up to go back inside. Her eyes widened when she found the door locked. She ran frantically for the main entrance to the building, almost tripping once.
-
Sorrow laughed at the girl, though she really didn't understand why. She didn't even know her..
She continued toying with the computer systems, glancing up to watch her every few seconds. -
She eventually reached the door, finding it locked as well. It was entirely glass. The bombproof, bulletproof kind. She banged her fists on it. "Hey!" The receptionist at the front desk didn't look up, apparently not hearing her. The lady either had bad hearing, or the glass was also soundproof.
-
Sorrow could see the girl banging on the front door, and tried not to laugh.
"Sucks to be you." she said with a smile, and didn't even notice her fingers typing the code to unlock the facility doors until she heard the mechanical click of the lock unlatching.
