Probably. Ok if you haven't taken out the string and re strung it do that.

After make sure every setting is for that type of string. Most f the time it's because people have it on a certain setting that makes the strng bunch up

To restring the bottom take the string out of the needle make sure all of the threads at going in hat certain direction and the string is going in the direction the machine tells you.

oh.. there is no bottom needle and the machine only says how to clean and oil the bottom part
