Okay, beginning....
I woke up that morning with my book under my cheek. I sat up and rubbed the sleep from my eyes. I looked down at my book. Perfect condition. I got up and headed to the bathroom for a shower. -
'Week 3 on the run from home' i thought. I scratched my arm looking down and seeing the bruises on them.

I got dressed after I got out of the shower and left my hair wet, hanging down my shoulders. Today was a Saturday, so there was no school. I grabbed my book and headed outside, no exact location in mind.

I kept looking at my arms. Past burns from lighters stood out like ugly scars. I walked over to someone's backyard and hid in the back, stripped down to my boxers and used their water hose as a shower. I got my clothes on.

I walked by the neighbors house and heard a hose going. Seeing as it was still pretty early in the morning, I knew the neighbors weren't up yet. As I walked by, I was staring at the house, as if I could see through it, to the back yard.
