Once upon a time, a very tired Lana-Lynn was defying her parents' orders and staying up late on GTQ. She decided to close her eyes for a short while, but felt herself succumbing to the powerful forces of sleep. Without meaning to, she abandoned her friends for a short while, tugged into the realm of weirdass dreams.
A sudden buzzing underneath her pillow jolted her awake, almost making her scream. A scared Lana-Lynn reached underneath her pillow and found her trusty little cell phone who she had named Sir Robert III. Sir Robert III was a special phone, different from all the rest. For he was an improvement upon the Samsung Intensity I. He was a bright tropical blue and a popular pick amongst teenage girls like herself. In fact, Lana-Lynn's best girl friends, Melanie, Isa, and Timothy all owned Sir Robert III's siblings. Though these individual devices were not named, Alana was sure they would be.
She unlocked the screen to be greeted by a text. Ceeceecaw. Text back if you get the joke. Alana, bewildered by such an odd statement, immediately texted a reply.
Who is this?
Within minutes she received a response: This is Brennel.
She cocked her head to one side, her groggy eyes staring at the screen. "What the hell?" she thought, since she did not know of any Brennel. Ever.
Who is Brennel?
Me.
Who is me?
Brennel.
Ten minutes and many wasted texts later, Lana-Lynn was sick of it. She deleted the messages and fired off one last reply.
Good night Brennel.
Just as she was about to fall asleep, her phone buzzed once more.
Good night, me.
The story of Brennel still haunts Lana-Lynn to this very date, a mere day or two after the initial event. And so, Lana-Lynn will forever remember Brennel and his idiotic ways.
Oh, Brennel... Oh, dearest, dearest Brennel... She can only hope that his idiocy was merely a phase. -
