It's simple. If you choose to drive your car today, you'll release gases into the air. The air will be affected by the speed your car is going through it. You'll need to stop to get gas. That gas station prepares for you and many others like you who choose to drive their cars. They have to get oil. They get oil from people who go out to get oil. They get oil from underneath land or water. This effects the ecosystem.
That's just one tiny example. -
