:3 I just got on here.
Dragon, I think this one's better off with just two people. We can do a different one, just as Hattie said.
"SETH! GET YOUR ASS OUT OF THIS HOUSE!" his father's voice boomed from the living room, still slightly slurred and pitchy from the previous night's high. The boy bolted upright and quickly slipped on his clothes; black jeans, sneakers, and a dark sweatshirt. He tugged the black cloth over his wrists to conceal the scars and healing wounds. -
Hooray :D Sorry we couldn't continue yesterday, guess we weren't on at the same time.
"Don't you want-" Her mother's voice cut off as the door slammed shut behind her. Paula checked her watch, and figured she'd get to school just in time if she power-walked. She ran her fingers through her hair, starting off. -
It's okay. Yesterday was a crazy hell of a day for me. xD
Seth slung his backpack over his shoulder and slipped out the back door. He wouldn't dare walk past the room his father was in... That would be like committing suicide. Multiple times. He cut through the woods, stray sticks and branches jabbing at his frail body. He looked at the world through sad, heavy eyes. Today would be just like the rest. Complete and utter hell. -
On the way she passed other students. They lagged, obviously not caring wether they made first bell or not. She brought out her schedule and went over it once more. She drew a deep breathe, wishing that starting a new school was easy.
-
He arrived at the school before most of the student body. Good. Maybe I'll be under the radar today, he thought. His eyes, however, were still glued to the ground as he walked towards the front steps. It was habitual now; he couldn't divert his gaze from his feet when around others.
-
She was so focused on that small piece of paper, that she tripped over the school curb, landing flat on her face. She shot up not a second later, brushing herself off and laughing. "Oh Paula. CLumsy, clumsy Paula."
-
Seth heard someone fall just behind him. Their voice sounded unfamiliar. He turned around, inquisitive as to who this new person might be.
-
Paula looked up, smiling and waving at the person just ahead of her. Of course. It was her first day, the others hadn't tainted her with rumors yet.
-
The girl seemed so happy, a feeling that was oddly foreign to Seth by now. He attempted to smile back, managing to uplift the corners of his mouth a bit. His eyes contradicted his motion though, revealing the abundance of despair and pain within him.
-
He looks so sad... she thought, walking over towards him. "Hello." she kept upbeat, despite the small trickle of blood running down her cheek. Must be from when I fell...no matter, I'll clean it up when I get inside.
-
"Hi," he replied back, his voice a bland whisper. Seth didn't like communication... at all. He wished he hadn't turned around; that he hadn't been so interested. But, as they say, curiosity killed the cat.
-
"I'm Paula, what's you're name?" He seemed reserved, introverted even. She felt the need to bring him out, like she always did.
-
He blinked. "Seth." His voice came out at a level that was just barely audible.
-
Paula smiled, one of her best smiles. "That's a nice name."
-
He shrugged, trying not to cringe at the pain it caused. "Not really..."
