I walk over to the sand by the lake, and write in huge letters: I'M SORRY
Then, I stomp away into the forest. -
I keep walking, trying to ignore him. But the more he yells, the harder it gets to ignore him.
That's when I do something that shocks me.
"YA KNOW WHAT!? I DON'T CARE! I WASN'T THE ONE WHO PULLED THEIR NAMES FROM THE REAPING BOWL! I WASN'T THE ONE WHO MADE THESE GAMES! AND I WASN'T THE ONE WHO KILLED HER! IT WASN'T ME!" I screamed. -
I waited for him to react, but when he didn't, I just decided to tell him.
"Those idiots at the Capitol have taken up my act of not being able to talk for years. I pretended so they wouldn't make it so I really couldn't. And it worked. And now, it dosn't even matter! The one person I loved is dead, and my friend is dead now to. There's nothing left. They can't do anything else to me. So I. Dont. Care." I said. All the anger that I had been holding in for years came right out, and I felt like a giant weight had just been lifted off my shoulders. -
"That felt good to say."

"You what?" I asked him. My eyes were welling up gain, because it seemed like Masa was standing by me, giving me the courage to say all of that.

"Fine. I'm gonna go back." I said, then turned around and started walking in the direction where Masa was killed. I just wanted to say goodbye one more time.

I stopped in my tracks when I saw the hovercraft in the sky.
"Oh my god..." I said, looking at the looming figure above us. -
"Brayden. Look." I said, pointing to the huge craft.

"That's not from the capitol. Look, the seal says district 13."

"Yah, I know."
(Yah, just a few.) -
"What do we do?" I asked him, as I saw a hatch open on the bottom of the craft.
And the last person I expected to see was there, in the hatch, reaching down like she could pull me up herself, which I almost thought she could. -
I didn't know how to react to seeing that.
So, I just stood there, my head tilted back, my mouth agape and my eyes wide.
And I saw her smile. -
I stared.
Just stared.
Her smile brought the life back into me. -
"No. The person I love is alive and up there, so I'm going to sit here and gape at the fact that shes alive. WE ARE GOING."
I see the hovercraft lower a bit, then drop a ladder down, nd I start climbing it as soon as its in reach. -
Minata: I go straight to Masa, holding her in my arms and tears rolling down my face.
Masa: He holds me in his arms, and I feel his warmth enclose me. I had waited so long to feel these arms again, and I never wanted to let go.
