(next morning)
Masa: "Minata, Minata get up!" I yell, shaking his shoulder. I could feel the smoke creeping into my lungs as I got up. I already had all the stuff packed into our bags, and we carried them as we ran. -
I could see flames licking the ground at our heels, and we ran faster to outrun the flames. Soon, we were at the cornocopia, which seemed to be one of the only places that wasn't going up in flames. Four cannons fired.

We see two careers amerging from the forest, and we go into the cornocopia and hide behind some leftover bags.

We heard the careers leave, so we got up and started back to the forest.

Masa: "Where do you want to go? I could check if they're still at the lake." I offer Minata. He nods yes, so I find a sturdy tree and start to climb it.

Masa: I get to the top, and look around the lake. Some smoke keeps me from seeing part of it, but I don't think I see them anymore. I climb back down and me and Minata head back to the lake.

Minata: I see Pacifica and Brayden, and pull Masa down into a bush next to me.
Masa: Minata pulls me into a bush, and I don't know why. "Ow!" I screech as I land on top of him. -

Minata: I cover Masa's mouth with my hand.
Masa: I sit still, but I still don't know why I'm in a bush. -
Masa: Somebody kicked my stomach. "Ow!" I screech again through Minata's fingers.

Masa: "Ahh!" I screamed as loud as I could.
Minata: Jumps up and brings a knife to the throat of the other girl. -
Minata: I narrowed my eyes at Brayden, and didn't let go of Pacifica.
Masa: "He's not gonna let her go till you put me down!" -
Minata: I see the fire in Masa's eyes- she only looks this mad when she's about to burst. I don't move.
Masa: "You better put me down right now, or your gonna be sorry you were ever born!" I scream at Brayden.
