It had been months, years even before Kellan had found his love again.It's was his last chance to do this right. His fate lay in the small village in front of him, and he knew that with Nessamine by his side, the task would be accomplished.

Ruma stared at a kitten playing with a butterfly, frustrating herself everytime the little paws missed the taunting butterfly. The kitten never relented, which seemed not to be such a good thing anymore.
After about the seventeenth time the butterfly landed, then took off just in time to escape the kitten's grasp, she decided to step in. Her shadows grabbed hold of the butterfly, smashing it back into the ground. It lay there flat, and the kitten sniffed it for a moment, poked at it with a claw, and sat down, looking disappointed. Her shadows picked it up again, threw it into the air. It drifted back down to the ground, dead.
"Oops... Sorry, kitty.." -
Nessamine glanced at Kallen. Why were they here? Something about his love? Ridiculous! She'd be better for him than anyone else. But he didn't realize that.
