Especially my mom's sarcasm lol.
We went to Huntington Park today (Which is a city where there's a whole bunch of stores, like a Hispanic version of a mall. xD So technically there aren't Gringos in the area.) and you know how Latinos are pretty dark-skinned and s--- like that? xD
Mom: Everyone here is so white. They really need to come out in the sun more!
Me: They're probably Americans.
Mom: Yeah. They're just wanting to be awesome like us!
(I don't know if I've mentioned, but my mom, dad, and I are pretty light-skinned, so lol)
Then later my dad's talking about women, then he says "Damn, she's so ugly that not even Bob the Builder can fix her!"
He got that from somewhere but it was still funny. xD
Then we start talking about Cinco de Mayo, and my dad says "Come on hija, get ready to round up the burros and go to France in our ponchos and sombrerros and see what the French do."
That made me giggle. xD Though all of this was much funnier in Spanish.. -
