What a great way tostart off at a new school, puffy eyes and red rudolph noses. I sucked it up and walked to first period, with still puffy eyes and still a red nose. -
I looked out the door and the teacher was coming. We all sat down in our seats.

Samantha2332 NoviceI walked in right after the teacher. I was hoping that she wouldnt introduce me to the class...but she did. "Class, this is Shelby. Shes new here, she moved here because of her dads work," I started to tear up again at her words. I took a seat at a desk alone in the way far back so it would be hard for people to stare, but somehow, they found a way.

I looked back at the new girl Shelby, and I waved.

Samantha2332 NoviceI forced a smile at a boy waving at me, then covered my head in my arms as the teacher started an educational movie. When everyone moved up, I stayed in my enclosure, under my arms.

"What's wrong?" I whispered to her.

Samantha2332 Novice"Its nothing, you dont have to worry about it," I said. He was cute, and cute usualy isnt the kind of guy who really cares.

Samantha2332 NoviceI went back into my inclosure and felt bad. He was trying to be nice because Im new. But oh well, theres more people in the school, maybe I wont neglect them like I did him.

The movie was over and it was the end of first period.

Samantha2332 NoviceI walked to my second period slowly and sat in a seat. I again covered my head. I just couldnt shake this form of depression that was inside of me.

I walked to second period seeing Shelby still covering her head. -I wonder what's wrong with her- I thought.

Samantha2332 NoviceI looked up to see that the boy from first period was in this class too. I smiled at him as a greeting and this time, kept my head up. From now on, I am just gonna be happy.

I walked over to her, "Hi," I said.
