"Awesome." I smiled and rubbed on her belly. I couldn't get over the fact that I was going to be a dad.

I smiled and drifted off to sleep.

That night, I stayed awake. My brain just wouldn't shut off.

I dreamed that I was in a meadow with Dylan. There was a little girl flying a kite and laughing. "C'mon, Brooke!" Dylan shouted for the little girl. She came running back to us. "I'm here, Daddy." I smiled in my sleep and cuddled closer to Dylan.

"I love you." I kept whispering to give myself something to do.

I woke up slightly. "I love you, too, Dylan." I felt a little nauseous.

"You feeling okay?" I had to check up on her.

"Uhh." I could feel it starting to come up. I jumped out of bed and ran to the toilet and threw up.

I stood behind her, rubbing her back. All the muscles seemed really tense.

I coughed and rested my cheek on the seat of the toilet. "This sucks," I muttered. My mouth tasted horrible.

"I know it does." I started giving Nik a gentle shoulder massage.

I sighed and my muscles started to relax. "Thank you, Dylan."
