"Us, silly." I knew our parents were dead and gone but Dylan and I would be the closest thing that Cel would ever get to parents now.

"Oh, duh." I facepalmed. Idiots die hard, I guess.

I laughed at Dylan. "I love you." I said and hugged him tightly.

"I love you too." I brushed away a bug that was on her shoulder.

I kissed him gently and smiled, happy we were back together and safe, for now, at least.

"What did you do with Alex?" I asked. I couldn't help it, curiosity got the better of me.

"Oh, um, I sorta, I don't know, gave her a concussion, possibly." I didn't want Dylan to be mad at me.

I moved on to my next question. "Are you mad at me?"

"Well, I was, but now I'm not. I was mostly confused before."

"I mean about me slapping you." I explained. "It was a reflex."

I reached up and rubbed my cheek. "Yeah, I'm still a little pissed about that. But I understand."

I stepped back and spread my arms.
"Go ahead." -
"What?" I didn't understand what he was doing.

"Hit me back. I won't block or fight back."

I was shocked. "Why would I do that?"
