I wrapped my arms around his neck. I slowly moved my face to his. Then I went and gave him a raspberry on his neck. "SURPRISE!" I laughed.

"Unfair!" I exclaimed, trying to wipe the spit off my neck. I chased Nik down the stairs and into the living room.

"ALEX! I need your help!" I ran into her in the living room and jumped behind a couch. "He's trying to kiss me. Stop him!"

I dodged around Alex and jumped behind the couch, pinning Nik to the floor.
"Uh boy," Alex tried to get my attention. " You ain't got no clothes on. I mean, besides your undies." -
"I see London, I see France, I see my babies underpants!" I laughed.

"What's your excuse?" I asked looking down at an underwear clad Nik.

"Oh, crap!" I looked over at Alex and blushed a deep red.

"Everyone, stop." I whispered, freezing in place and watching as a giant herd of walkers passed just outside the back deck.

I buried my face in Dylan's chest. I didn't want to look at the walkers and remember the horrible situation the world was in.

A bunch of them gathered at the door and started banging on it. I grabbed the girls' hands and ran up the stairs, barracading the door to the room we had first stayed in.
"Where is everyone else?" I asked, loading my bow and pushing up against the door. I was vaguely aware that I was still in my boxers. -
When we got up, I ran over to the futon. Celeste was there, sleeping like a cloud. I brushed the hair off her forehead.

I heard glass break downstairs. Then a gunshot.
"s---." I muttered. "They're just gonna draw more."
I slid down to the floor and put my head in my hands. "We're gonna die..." -
I looked back at Dylan. I walked over to him. "Listen to me," I said taking his face between my hands. "We can do this. We can work through this hell and come out in heaven. Don't give up hope, babe." I kissed him urgently on the lips.

" Y'all don't get too freaky over there." Alex whispered. "We gots a youngin over here."
I ignored her and put all my attention to Nik, my beautiful Nik. -
I kissed him and felt a happiness I never thought would be possible after the apocalypse started but that was before I had met Dylan.
