;3 I am back from the parade with a first hand look at what drunkards do on the unofficial St. Patrick's Day. And the mentally unstable wobble around the streets of the capital... Ah, it was golden. Lunch sucked though. >_> I paid ten dollars for a soggy sandwich at Quizno's. f---ing Quizno's, you're a moron. xD
"Thanks. You don't look too bad yourself." I opened the front door and closed it after us. -
xDDD
I pulled at my sleeve, looking at the world ahead. -
We walked down the streets. They were relatively quiet; the work crowd had already settled down. Seldom from a few other people, we were pretty much alone. We came closer to Fifth Street.
:o I want them to go to Five Guys Burgers And Fries~! -
"Strange. Usually it's a rush right about now."
-
I shrugged. "They closed off some of the streets because of the parade. Everyone's probably downtown."
-
I nodded. "That's true."
-
I pointed slightly ahead of us. "There it is."
-
"I know that." I glared. "I'm not stupid."
-
My eyes gravitated quickly to the pavement. "Sorry," I said, my voice small and quiet.
-
"Hm."
-
We walked inside, the aroma of fries, grease, burgers, and peanuts hanging in the air.
At Five Guys they fry everything in peanut oil and let you have unlimited peanuts to munch on. :3 -
I looked around, It wasn't that bad. Atleast, not as bad as I thought.
Bleh xP I don't like peanuts. -
:O HOW DO YOU LIVE AT BASEBALL GAMES. Wait... Crackerjack. Right... Wow, I'm dumb.
"What'll you be getting?" the girl behind the counter asked, smiling. She was pretty. She had no bruises. You must have a nice boyfriend, I thought, before noticing that she was staring at my face strangely. -
Er, I've never been to a baseball game.
I glanced at, er, Linda, then at the girl at the counter.
"How about..." -
:O WHAT. When I meet you, you MUST come with me to a Red Sox game in Boston. They are amazing. You can't live without going to a baseball game! Are there any other sporting events that you haven't attended? Because we'll go to those as well.
"The single looks good to me," I whispered under my breath, glancing up at the menu. When I brought my eyes back to the counter the girl was still staring at me, concern evident in her bright green eyes. Don't say anything... Don't say anything...
"Oof, how'd you get a bruise like that?" she nodded towards me.
