  I was walking through the forest, pulling my earplugs in.
  I'm skipping school for the third time this week.
  My mom wont be so happy.
  As the iPod hits my favorite song, Don't Stop Believin' by Journey, I wonder what it's like to be a normal, American teenager.

  I pulled up my hood and closed my eyes, focusing on the music. My teeth ache from not drinking anything since Christmas, and it's almost Easter.
  My head hurts because I can sense someone entering the forest. But I know I'm okay, because it's Devon. It's always Devon.
