Her face fell. Did he know?, she thought, worried. "Y-Yeah.." She tried to hide her expression.

"So, I think it'd be better for you to stay here for the night. I mean, you don't want to get lost, or for them to find you again," he said. Something wrong? She looked a bit... worried, perhaps? Definitely not the cheerful girl he'd seen earlier.

She gave a little smile. "I call the couch."

"All yours." He went upstairs to get her some blankets.

Rain smiled and sat on the couch, thinking about the day.

He came back downstairs with a stack of blankets.

"Damn... its not Antarctica in here." She joked.

"I know." He laughed.

She smiled and giggled.

He set down some of the blankets. "Well, goodnight Rain, see you tomorrow." He started to walk away.

"Good night.. And thanks for helping me.. if you wouldn't of then I'd been steak."

He stopped for a moment, smiling, then went upstairs, put away the other blankets, and went to bed.

Rain sat on the couch, and finally laid down. Today was.. interesting, she thought. She had just closed her eyes when she fell into a deep sleep.

He laid on his bed for a while, thinking about what had happened in the past half hour or so. Eventually he fell asleep.
