"I was on the run, met up with the survivors here, they offered me to join their camp. I accepted. How'd you get o the field over there?" I asked her.

"Well, after my family was turned, I ran there. It used to be a secret little club for me and my sister... we'd go there when our parents were..... drunk." I whispered the last part. I walked towards Jake.

My eyes widened a bit. "You-You had alcoholic parents to?" I whispered.

I nodded, my eyes tearing up. "They where abusive too... They tried to..." I gulps, starting to cry. "Rape me."

I walked p to her, putting my hand on her cheek. "It's okay now." I whispered.

"No it's not! I was only 6!" I was sobbing.

(sorry doing homework and texting my friend if i don't say anything that's why.)
I pulled her close. "Sh...quiet, it's all okay now. I'm here, I won't let anything hurt you." I whispered. -

I buried my face into his chest. -
I stroked her hair gently.

Memories of my childhood surrounded my thoughts. The time I was forced into a closet for atleast 2 weeks, the time I was slammed against the wall, the time I was burned. It all haunted me.

"It's alright, everything's okay now." I whispered to her.

"It still haunts me." I muffled.

"I know how you feel, be strong."

I hugged him tightly.

I kissed her temple. "It's all okay now..."
