"Okay." I got up and answered the phone. "Hello?" I said, cautious. My friends voice echoed on the other side. she sounded drunk, or high. "Heyy Meliss-a I a-m at a patrriii and you needr to comeer." I shook my head. "No, Skye. I'm not going.. I'm with my sister. It's her birthday and I don't want to miss it." "Whatever its you-r loss loozer. hahaha peace." And then the call was done. I put down the phone, shaking my head, and sat back down on the couch.

"Who was that?"i ask staring at the T.V.

"Uhh.. just Aunt Josie. She said she loved you, and that she was just checking up on us." I lied, eating some more popcorn.

"Cool!"i smile. I grab a handful of popcorn and eat it.

"Yep."

I sneeze. "sorry"i say. I eat more popcorn. I laugh at a funny part of G-Force.

"Bless you." i smiled and ate some more popcorn.

"Can have some ice-cream now Mel?"

"Of course you can, birthday girl." I smiled and got some ice cream out of the fridge. "Chocolate or vanilla?"

"BOTH!"i shout.

I gave a warm smile, and seperated them, handing it to her. I sat back down on the couch, watching the end.

I finish my ice-cream by the end of the movie. "Who knew that Speckles was evil"i say to Mel.

I shrugged.

I yawn "Im tired"i say"Im going to bed....will you read to me?"

"Well of course. Remember you have school tomorrow." I said, smiling, and taking her upstairs.
