(I should probably tell you that I'll have to leave any minute now.)
"Let go, kid!" Cobra growled around her mouthful of flesh and blood. She glared hatefully up at the girl's face, contemplating all the ways to kill her right then. She knew her eyes must resemble a monster's, but she didn't care. -
(Aww...)
I let go, whimpering a bit. -
Cobra pulled her hand up to her face to inspect her arm. Her gaze flicked back down to the whimpering kid.
Is she faking it?
She took a step back, eyes trained on the girl, and recovered her knife. -
I knelt on the ground, holding my arm. "You meanie!" I screamed.

"Meanie?" she murmured. She wouldn't get close to the girl. She lifted the knife. She could kill the girl now.
The girl knelt there, and although Cobra was sure it was an act, the little human looked so pitiful... maybe she wouldn't kill her.. -
I tried, unsuccessfully, to choke back my tears. "I didn't even want to do this! I'm just doing my job!"

Cobra watched the girl.
Crap. I'm more pathetic than she's acting. And this shall be the death of me..
"No.. quit crying.." she said, gently prodding the girl's shoulder. She unsheathed her claws, just in case. -
I flinched, staring up at the lady. "Please don't hurt me..."

Cobra narrowed her eyes.
"If this is supposed to be some kind of trick- it's not working. I don't believe for a second that they'd send a weak little human child to chase after someone like us." she growled. -
(And now I have to leave. Bye, Selena!)

I stared up at her. "I act stronger than I really am for them. I guess it's hurting me now. I just wanted to be the best hunter..."

Cobra glared at the girl. "I don't believe you." she informed the girl. -
"Why?" I frowned. Hmm... what to do... I looked at her hands. She had claws! That wasn't human.
