Thread Topic: Hello.
-
(Bye bye.)
-
(A completely normal house... but you can tell? Geez, you're good.)
Cobra stiffened. The feeling grew, very suddenly. Her eyes widened. She couldn't take any chances. She couldn't be seen. And if she was seen, no one could know who she was to the project. Just another henchman..
She ran to the stairs. -
(Yup. She's a genius.)
He had to be somewhere in that house. I started across the street, hoping to break in and find him. -
Cobra found him there again- standing in the hallway, peering around a corner at her. She skidded to a stop.
"Stalker! Knock it off! Wakee everyone and tell them to flee- we meet up at our secondary base!" she instructed, and made a break for her room. There would be a window.. -
I lifted my shirt, pulling a small grappling hook from a belt around my waist. I threw it to an open second story window and began climbing.
-
The window was open there, and a strange metallic object had hooked onto it.
"Holy s---!" she muttered, and turned to run again. -
When I reached the top, I heard someone running off. I ran after them, not saying a word.
-
The guy was running from door to door now, following orders quite well. He was fast. She could forgive him for his stalker intents..
"Just scream at them all to get up! They'll all wake up eventually, with all the commotion that's gonna go on out here. Scream and run!" she said, and jumped off the side of the banister around the stairs, down to the bottom floor.
"They can't see me... they can't see me!" -
I followed her. She should really stop yelling. The last thing we wanted was for the whole neighborhood to wake up and for someone to call the cops.
-
"Crap, crap, crap.." she cursed under her breath. She could feel eyes on her.
But they don't know I'm i ncharge. I'm just a worried henchman helping the others get out before anything happens to them. How do I see something like that? They all snap to attention at just the sight of me!
She needed to act weak and uncoordinated. She could be the innocent girl who got dragged in way too far.
She stopped at the door, glancing up at the girl standing there.
"Crap, it's a little kid. Innocence doesn't work on a little kid. They just want an excuse to kick around someone older than them.." she muttered under her breath. -
I made my way to the lady standing by the door. "Hey! You!" I tried to sound intimidating, or even normal, but I realized that as soon as the words came out, my voice sounded childish.
-
Worth a shot..
She had learned of lethal children. She would take no chances. She worked to look weak, shakily drawign a knife from her pocket.
"stay away!" she growled, like a defensive child. -
"Tell me where the demon assassin is. He's the leader of this, isn't he?" I stared up at her.
-
He? Excellent.
She forced herself not to laugh, and continued holding the knife in her shaking hands.
"I don't know where he is. She said this was gonna be fun! I don't even know who I'm working for!" she said, sounding like she was close to tears. -
"You're lying." I pulled a gun from my belt.
