Silence heard a girl's voice say, "Who's there?" She shook her head, supressing a chuckle. Poor girl. She doesn't sound any older than 13. Silence thought. then she remembered Pain's words: "Save your pity for yourself. You only feel your pain, not everyone elses, so embrace that." Silence shook the pity away and cleared her mind. If she didn't think about what she was doing, it wouldn't be as bad.

Farrah fell alseep, on the beach. She was so disoriented she thought she lost her memory, but she wouldn't know it if she did. She looked up to see dark blue-gray clouds. The air was hot and humid, the sign of a big storm. Suddenly the waves were coming towards her, licking her arms. Farrah.....Farrah, come in.... Farrah remembered that she had to get into Olinia, the underwater world. She waded up to her neck in the water and felt the painful stitching between her lehgs. Then she made herself breath in a mouthful of water. She didn't choke, so she was in. She swam around, getting use to her tail again, and set out to the Broken City..... -
