With a long sigh his father said,"Start packing. We're leaving for California in the morning." He walked off to do the same.

I slammed my door angrily and sat on my bed. They couldn't make me, could they? I got all of my clothes and stuffed them into a bag.

The next morning Collin and his father boarded a plane flight for California. After a few transfers and an awfully large amount of time, both of them arrived in San Francisco.

I looked around. "This looks like a pile of rotten crumpets."

I was skateboarding down the hill, passing houses at top speed. I enjoyed the thrill, but I was going fast mostly because I supposed to have met my friends at Fisherman's Wharf a while ago. At the absolute last second I noticed a boy about my age get out of a car. Right before I crashed into him with a big, "OH!"

I was hit by a speeding figure. "OW! YOU HOBKNOCKER! GET OFF OF ME!" I screamed, getting up and dusting myself off. "How could you hit me, you ludias maximous."

"First off, what does that even mean? Second, it's called look both ways."I said calmly, getting up. I had a few scrapes but didn't care. I was too focused on putting this jerk in his place. -

"Welcome to the neighborhood."I said sarcastically. Then I got on my board and sped off.

I turned to my dad. "She got her knickers in a twist." I said, pissed. -
"But she did have the right away. Now go inside. We need to unpack."
"Mean-ass, son-of-a-b----."I muttered to myself. He'd made me even more late. I found my friends inside the restaurant and told them about what happened. They agreed with me that this guy was a complete jerk. -
I rolled my eyes. "Whateva." ;D
