Christine walked over, sat down and stayed calm but asked "Brail? Have you gone blind?" She felt liked she missed a lot while at the world conference.

"Yeah" Cam answered, acting as if she were talking about the weather.

Christine sat a bit shocked and asked. "Will you ever see again? Can I help?"

"Well, there is a small chance," Cam said "but I don't think Friegh would like it."

"Really, why wouldn't Freigh like it?" Christine replied.d

"Being blind is a side effect of a spell I performed, I would have to ask Friegh if I could see again." Cam sighed.

"Oh." Christine nodded. "If you need help learning to live with it I can help. I had a friend in my neighborhood growing up that had to learn brail."

"Really? That would help, thanks." Cam said, clearly relieved.

"No prob," Christine said happily and looked at some of what Cam was working on, remembering some of it.

Cam toched the small bumps, remembering some but not all. "This is gonna take some time." she said under her breath.

"Yeah, you're doing well for a beginner though," Christine said starting to remember more.

"Thanks" Cam said, her fingers tracing and retracing over the page.

They worked for a couple pages when Ivan came back from the conference. "Hallo all," he said then noticed they were using brail. "Are you guys alright?" he asked.

"Yeah, fine" Cam said, her eyes closed and her fingers sore from rubbing the bumps over and over again.
