Cam was frightened for Amy.

Trunks quickly Rushed her into a bed. She was on the verge of death. (She's immortal, but she can still die of natural causes like polio and all that stuff)

Cam was breathing hard, she had never been so frightened in her life.

Trunks worked on the girl for multiple hours. Kakarot was crying silently, praying that Amy and Lan would be okay.

Cam was pacing back and forth, trying not to burst into tears.

It was getting late. Kakarot had cried himself to sleep, Goku's head was on Vegeta's lap, and Vegeta was drifting off.

Cam was still pacing, and showed no signs of falling asleep.

Vegeta instantly woke up when he heard Trunks' faint voice that only his acute sense of hearing could catch. "Couldn't save... bleeding too much... was a boy... How are we going to tell them..."

Cam's cat-like hearing couldn't hear what Trunks was saying, but she could tell it wasn't good.

Vegeta ran to the door. Trunks opened it just before Vegeta was going to open it himself.

Cam followed Vegeta and asked "Bad news?"

"Well... Amy isn't in good shape... Lan on the other hand..." he said, tears filling his eyes.

"...He didn't make it. He died only moments after being taken out of the womb..." he said, tears escaping. "Oh dear Kami..." Vegeta said.

Cam began to cry, she was lucky all five of her kids survived.

Kakarot's eyes widened and began to bawl loudly.
