Dreg just gave Rose a blank stare. He seemed used to his victims escaping. He didn't seem to care. Adrian, however, broke down and cried. Tears of anger.

Rose looked at Adrian, and then back to Dreg.

"Almost," he cried.

Dreg just shook his head disappointedly. Adrian let out a series of loud sobs and sniffles. He knew he looked like a wimp-ass, but right now, that didn't matter.

Rose, after several more moments of silent observation, turned and walked away.
"What's wrong with him?" -
'b----!' Adrian screamed after her.
Suddenly, a certain pink-haired girl jogged down the road, close to the alley where Adrian and Dreg were. She spotted a young girl walking out. -
Essence! :D
Rose looked over, and smiled at the lady comming down the sidewalk. -
'Hello.' Essence nodded at the child. She heard loud weeping in the alleyway, and turned. 'Adrian?!'
The cultic killer looked up at her.
'Essence?' he gasped.
'Hi, Essence.' Dreg nodded, smiling in a friendly manner. She waved at him. -
Rose looked over at Dreg and Adrian, then back to Essence.

Essence turned to Rose, still smiling. Her smile faded when she realized what had happened.
'What did they do?' she asked. -
"He got really sick.."

"Is there anything we can do to help him?"
-
"No.. We've done everything.."

"Did you take him to a hospital?"
-
"No.. There isn't a point.."
