They nodded. Dreg and Persephone were the last ones to be pulled out.

When the girl landed back on the edge of the quicksand, her wings quickly retracted. "You're welcome." she said, picked up her satchel, and walked away.

'Wait a minute...' Dreg announced, realizing exactly who had just helped them.

"That wasn't........was it?" Night wondered.

'I think it was.' Persephone agreed 'Xero!'

"How did she get to be that age so fast? I mean, she was three last time we saw her." Night said.

'Who knows?' Anise shrugged.
'I'm just glad she's okay.' Dreg thought, accidently saying it out loud. -
"You know, it's odd that you care about her so much. One like you comes off as a man with a steel heart, and yet you really care." Night said.

Jeruse laughed at Dreg as the god covered his mouth, regretting his words.
'More like a man with NO heart!' Jeruse taunted 'You're not her father, Dreg.'
'SHUT THE FHAWK UP, BAKA!' Dregarious yelled at the annoying prince. The monarch yelped and slinked away. -
"I think it's nice he'd care for Xero." Night said.

'So do I.' Persephone nodded.

"So, who wants to try and find somewhere with no danger?" Night asked.
A few miles off, Xero was met with a man who looked like this: -
'Good idea.' Jeruse cheered

Night smiled, and started off wth the others.
"Hello papi." Xero said, "Hello Darana" the man replied, leading the girl to a large mansion. "How was your day today?" "Well, I helped some people out of quicksand. I asked first, of course."
