(its a ability from a book i read, it means you can see traces of midnight monsters [aka darklings and slithers] left in normal time [that everyone has access to, to the midnight time, almost no one has access, not even the most powerful of characters] and basically you can read lore passed down from generations, basically it means you can see invisible footprints and read a language no one else can. so epic xD but since the midnight time doesnt exist where they live, her power is fairly useless but Candace has other powers she didn't divulge)

She started after her, out of boredom. -
Candace was unable to stop in time so she slammed into the door and stumbled backwards, "Ahh.." she groaned, rubbing her nose, then she opened it and slammed the door as soon as she walked in.

Candace saw it was the animorph person again and hid under the couch like the way Kali used to (and still did sometimes.) and just stayed there.
