The girl walks over to Annabel and kneels by her side. She places her hands on Annabel's shoulders, and closes her eyes, concentrating. When the girl opens her eyes they're glowing. The glow transfers down her arms in streaks and onto Annabel. It appeared as though she was healing Annabel. Then the girl was thrust back. The glowing stopped. And instead of Annabel being the one in pain, the girl was. Because she'd transfered the poison to herself. She didn't know why she was doing this. Sacrificing her life for a stranger? All her thoughts stopped when the world went black. Everything disappeared.

"Pike..." Annabel sighed. "I can't... Breathe..."
"Oh, let me take care of that for you," Pike answered. He leaned down and drank the wolf's blood from Annabel's mouth, then he spit it out with no problem. -
Anise stared at the strange girl, who she'd never met previously.

The girl got up, and laughed. "Werewolf blood can't kill me. Only vampires." she laughs lightly. She brushes off her jeans and shirt and turns toward Anise. "I'm Alex." she said. She nodded at Pike, Anise, and Annabel and then in the blink of an eye she was gone. The only thing left in her place was an empty vile of liquid. Of what, nobody knew.

"Pike!" Annabel yelled, standing up and hugging him.
"Where were you, angel?" Pike asked.
"I ran away from home. I... I saw Hayli there." Annabel whispered.
"But she's dead..." Pike gasped.
"I know. I saw her ghost." Annabel replied. -
Anise smiled, glad that Alex and Annabel were ok.

"Well... Being able to see ghosts? That's... new," Pike said. He didn't seem to have a problem with that.
"And I met three nice, but slightly insane aliens. Vegeta, Kakarot, and Amy." Annabel giggled, taking Pike's hands in hers.
"Aliens?" Pike laughed.
"Mm-hmm! They look human, but they have tails!" Annabel whispered. -

'They're friends of mine.' Anise added in, throwing her hair back. She was unaware about how many hours had gone past.

Back home, Alex reported to her master, an evil doctor. "There were 4 of them. One was a vampire, the other two i dont know. the vampire bit the werewolf. Master, it is going to be soon when they uncover our secrets of this land. We have to do something. Anything. We have to exterminate them." Alex's master's eyes widened. "Brilliant idea. And no one better to do it but yourself!" he smiled evilly. "Tomorrow you start. Go out, and earn their trust. Make them believe you would protect them, that you're a genuine friend. Then kill them off, one by one, slowly and painfully." he chuckled darkly. "Oh, and make the others watch." Alex bowed her head. "Yes, master." then she strode out of the room and climbed into her bunk, where she was hooked up to a machine which loaded her brain all the information about the 4 people from the forest that day.

"Tails? You sure you're not on drugs?" Pike laughed.
"Pike!" Annabel gasped.
"Just kidding, Annabel. I wouldn't expect you to after your mom... Never mind." Pike replied. -
