Teresa tripped over a rock, she hadn't been watching where she'd been going. She tried to get up but cried out in pain when she put pressure on her right ankle, it was sprained. Teresa looked at the darklings that were chasing her, as a last resort, she pulled out Administering--the knife she had found earlier, and threw it at the large, ancient creature, it combusted into blue flame and fell over, the smell of rancid eggs and dead animals bled into the air as more darklings came into sight. Teresa choked on the horrid stench, she had no more defenses against the creatures. Was this the end for her?

She was hopped up on adrenaline now, her heartbeat increased rapidly out of fear; Teresa was dead meat. She fumbled through her pockets in hope of finding more weapons but her pockets were bare, then she realized her watch was made out of steel. Out of a last resort, she unclasped her watch as the darkling approached her and screamed the first 13-lettered word she could think of (which was most likely lame.) "FLAMETHROWERS!" she screamed, throwing the wristwatch at the creature. Blue sparks emerged from it, the darkling shrieked in pain, giving her a chance to escape. She ignored the sharp pain in her right ankle and bolted away as quick as possible for someone with a sprained ankle. -

"I ecsapedI hid on this young earth in the 1600s.I stayed in the wildsprings and lived off my training.Just recently I was found again and shadowlings and werewolves attacked me.I lost my first life.Then I dragged my self here and had to treated by a freaken vet!"I growled.THAT was humiliating.I thought I could hear Free laughing.Well,at least one of the beings her had a sense of humor. -
Teresa was most definitely dead meat now, she had no weapons on board and she wasn't wearing her steel-toed boots (unfortunately). ALl of a sudden, an icey cold pain shot at her back, a slither attacked her and bit her shoulder. She cried out in pain and fell; the slither was preparing to attack her again, it lunged at her but then, a flash of blue light appeared and knocked it over. It writhed in pain where it had landed, the smell of rotten eggs leeched into the air and Teresa gagged at it. What had saved her? The round, disk-like weapon was still glowing from the attack, what was it? The glow faded, it was a hubcap, questions ran through her mind rapidly as she wondered what or who had saved her, but the pain was unbearable so she slowly blacked out.
