Gera kept struggling, but the thing holding her didn't let go. She was losing breath, fast.

Vegeta shot a blast at the thing, hoping that he would destroy it. Let go of her already! he mouthed.

Unfortunatly, the thing was able to dodge the attack. Gera was still struggling, but she was slowing down.

Vegeta growled and dove deeper and attacked the thing. Show your face! he mouthed again.

Just as Gera's body went limp, the thing disappeared. Leaving Gera to slowly sink to the bottom.

Vegeta gasped. No! he screamed in his mind. He swam to Gera's body and pulled her into shore.

Gera had a pulse, but it was slow and her breathing had stopped.

He did Cpr on her, WITHOUT MOUTH TO MOUTH, and saw Goku come with the boy, kinda shocked.

Gera sat up and coughed up water "Wha-what happened?" she asked, shaking just a little. From coldness or from fear, who knows?

"Something drowned you" Vegeta stated emotionlessly. Goku bent down. "You okay?" he asked Gera. The little baby, still unnamed, looked at her with innocent green eyes.

Gera nodded "I think so" she said.

Goku sighed. "Good" he said. "Vegeta, I'm thinking on calling the baby Musuko" he said. Vegeta thought about it. "But it's not the whole traditional Saiyan thing of vegetables and all that stuff..." Goku looked at him, kinda confused. The boy did the same.

"What does vegetables have to do with names?" Gera asked.

"Well... our names are vegetable names: Vegeta: vegetable, Kakarot: carrot Amy: yam Yams: yam. My real name is Kakarott as well. Trunks is the only one who isn't named after vegetables" Goku explained. The boy looked at him curiously.

"Oh, well isn't it silly? To have to follow a tradition if one will make fun of you for it?" Gera asked.
