The blackness slowly formed into a dream in which Cam was running. From what? She did not know, but she kept running, and running, and running...

Amy had one idea on how to wake her, though it would be displeasing. She shrugged and did what her instincts told her. She slapped Cam.

Cam woke with a start. At first she didn't understand why she was in the forest instead of her peacock feather bed at her grandmother's. Then she remembered it all. "What happened?" she asked Amy.

"You and I were attacked" she said. She pointed at the lifeless corpse. "I killed the man, then you blacked out." She hissed when she saw her sword on the floor. The only thing her mother was able to give her was on the floor due careless acts. She picked it up and dragged it across the ground.

Cam saw the man, swallowed her vomit, and saw Amy limp. "Are you okay?" she asked

Amy looked at her limp arm. "Yes" she said. It would heal, she knew it would. "We should definatly take you home"

Cam nodded, why would she object? This day had been her craziest. All she wanted to do was curl up with a good book and her puppy on her lap. So she followed Amy without a word

Amy walked to her own house and said "You should stay with me for tonight. It's too dangerous to be out at this time"

"Okay" Cam said looking at the sunset. This day had gone by fast, and all she wanted to do was sleep, sleep, and sleep.

Amy nodded and opened the unlocked door. The same emptiness greeted her. Being an orphan, she was used to such things. 15 and living on her own. She smirked.

Cam walked inside the empty house. "Where are your family?" she asked. She didn't know how anyone could live alone.

She frowned deeply. "I'm an orphan. My mother died giving birth to my brother and my father was killed in a robbery not too long ago". Her eyes narrowed. "He was a martial artist who taught me martial arts as well."

Cam felt a stab of pity for Amy. "I'm sorry" she said. Cam had no idea of how she felt seeing as she had a rather large family. "I didn't know"

She nodded. "It's okay". She walked around the house, getting annoyed by such awkward silence. "So what's your name anyway?"

"Camylia" she replied "but please, call me Cam"
