I blushed, and felt like slapping Carlisle at the same time. "Uh.. thanks." I said, awkwardly. "I think I've got it now."
Carlisle
"Your welcome." I gave a smile, and returned to the vegetables. -
Cole
I silently took a step forward. Then, feeling utterly stupid and idiotic, I retreated to my room.
Destiny
After getting the sauce set, I sighed and leaned against the counter. "Nothing like a good family cooked meal, am I right?" -
Rebekah
Soon the noodles were done, so I drained them, and smiled at Destiny. "I'm gonna go to my room..." I said, walking towards the kitchen door.
Carlisle
"Right." -
Destiny
I nodded and smiled. "Go ahead. You've worked hard enough."
Cole
I sat at my desk, my head in my hands. Things were confusing as ever, even before throwing in the fact that my brother fancied my girlfriend. I gave a quiet sigh. -
Rebekah
I gave a nod, and went upstairs. I knocked on Cole's door silently.
Carlisle
I leaned on the counter, and sighed. -
Cole
I stood up and walked over to the door. I opened it, finding Rebekah. "Hello."
Destiny
I rubbed Carlisle's shoulder. "It's tough, I know." -
(Sorry)
Rebekah
"Hi.." I said quietly.
Carlisle
I bit my lip. "Its always tough." I walked away, hurt and angry. -
(For what?)
Cole
I stood awkwardly in the doorway for a moment. "I see we're having Italian for dinner," I murmured, making small talk.
Destiny
I sighed and watched Carlisle stalk off.
Someday it'll be fair. You'll see. -
(I left to eat without warning. ..)
Rebekah
"Yeah.." I bit my lip, and looked down at my feet.
Carlisle
I sat on the couch motionless, ignoring the message Mom sent me. -
(That's fine.)
Cole
I twiddled my thumbs. "How's your nose? Do you think you'll be able to go to school tomorrow?" I already knew the answer. Her nose was fine, and she would reluctantly come to school. The perks of being a mind-reader. Sometimes it was better to not have the thoughts of others constantly coming at you.
Destiny
I tended to the food until it was done cooking. i started plating it, using a technique that I read about in a magazine called EveryDay Cooking. -
Rebekah
"Its better..." I continued to stare at my feet. "I probably will if everyone quits staring at me like I'm a wasteful toxic."
Cole
I turned on the T.V., and watched this show called 'Vampire Diaries'. It was hilarious, so this is what they think about us? -
XD You mean Carlisle.
Cole
"You know you're not. They're all just jealous because they had to work extra hard to get into this school and you came in with no complications."
Destiny
I walked into the living room and sat down next to Carlisle. The food was ready, but it could wait. I laughed at the television show. "That's absolutely absurd." -
(Yes! I always do that! x3)
Rebekah
I bit my lip once again. I stood silent, hoping he wasn't reading my mind, for I was thinking, But I AM wasteful. I don't deserve you or any other guy. I lived in a closet for years.
Carlisle
"Exactly." a smirk filled my face. -
(Haha, it's okay.)
Cole
I sighed. "Just because you lived in a closet doesn't mean you're wasteful. You deserve somebody a lot better than me and you know it, Rebekah."
Destiny
The vampire's on the show had exaggerated fangs. "They are NOT that long. And teen girls fangirl over this!?" -
Rebekah
"No I don't." I continued to look at my feet. "Everyone drools over you and try to seduce you."
Carlisle
I smiled. "I guess so."
